Well We were a bit Older When Freddy Came About...

             
             We went with "Frankenstein" (as an influence upon my childhood)
           Not Freddy Kruger because we were older 1n 84' when this film came out...

    Was in jail at the time ... awaiting trial for the bank robbery... so did not get to view the first movie till after the second one came out in theaters (which we saw in a theater a few weeks after viewing Nightmare on Elm Street) ... back in 86 ... had read an issue of Fangoria(about the sequel) around that time...

    I did like all of the Freddy movies. Saw most of them on TV, but maybe one or two in the theater. My kids liked them when they were little.

    In more recent times I purchased the DVD box set just to have them in my movie collection--it was a classic series.
