a quick creepy Christmas post for now... (Spore game "issues... Never use "Origins" as a game-server !!!!) Having Many problems (seem to be their Forced "updates"... mostly about Holiday sale items.... intent on installing this "vital" info... "Overrides" Everything else)
Well, back to the Holidays....
H. P. Lovecraft's "Old Ones".....
the Great Cthulhu is the best known of these old gods....
Dead and Dreaming in his sunken City....
The Old Ones are coming , Kiddies....
Well, my Cthulhu Adventures have done well ( One is still listed as most popular new Adventures")
And last night an older vehicle design that we made (just posted) was listed as "Most Popular New Creation"... So they seem to like my creations...
Yes the Great Cthulhu, himself...!!! that is the "Boss" Monster in this new Game...
We were told that players (mostly younger ones) do Not like having to "Walk" great distances in these Adventures to reach the "next Goal"... so we spiced things up a bit... no more "boring trek" across endless "nothingness" ... there is "wildlife" to attack the player all over so their "Walk" will keep them "Alert"... ( and the Monsters are Blue, just like the plant-life... so, "difficult" to spot)
All to reach the Giant Old One in his freshly risen city from the Sea...
even created wrecked fishing boats to roam about... as well as the destroyed fishing village (used in both games) Where-as the first Adventure is quick and simple ... we made Part Two much harder.....
A Two part Adventure ... the first game is Very easy...
Takes place in a ruined fishing town... No Bodies ( only the skeletal remains of livestock)
And in Part 2... You have to kill off Cthulhu...!!! (Leave him "dead and Dreaming")...
A bit of Background of the Old ones "timeline".....
the Great Cthulhu lies dead and dreaming in his sunken city.....
Mostly "Cthulhu"-based clips.....
a couple tunes to give you a "smile"....
Even a bit of "Fun" with the Old Ones.....
A fun little tale from that great Blog "The Unspeakable Vault"... which has such "wonderful" Lovecraft-based "Humor".... Check it out for a "Smile".....
Animation is a little bit "rough" but a nice piece of "background" on Cthulhu.....
and as for other "versions" of the Joker...
This is a 1972 concept for a set of model kits.....
So the "idea" to "update" this character is Not a new one.....
Not very "fond" of either design....
