Been watching a bit of You Tube this morning as well as this afternoon...
here is a short (condensed) version of his great tale about what was found in Antarctica...

For there lie beneath the snow and ice the ancient cities of the alien race, known as the "Elder Things".... and now that ice covering is melting away....

The Elder Hydra...
Been running them... Lost All that we had done for well over an hour... (Game Crash)...
Took over 4 hours to get back to were we "lost".... "Bummer"...
Too bad this film never made it... .
These "Elder Hydras" are a "creepy" design that we came up with after a "Session" with the "Elder Things"..... Great "Lovecraft-type" Fun.......

We thought about it and decided upon the "Elder Things" ( from Mr. Lovecraft's "At the Mountains of Madness")..... These beings "genetically engineered " some of the Life upon this and Many other worlds......Possibly even "Humans"...!!!

These Creatures are barrel-shaped cylinders with membranous wings. On Top of the Body is a head covered by three inch wiry cilia of many colors..... They have fie red-irised globed eyes. ... at the top of their heads are five mouthed tentacles, and at the Base of their Bodies are five powerful tentacles used for locomotion.......

These strange beings ... dug out of the ice of Antarctica... we discovered by an expedition Many years past....

Do not know .... But,... The areas of this frozen continent are now "censored" (or removed) from Google Earth... Something about these areas now that the ice is melting.....
Maybe Mr. Lovecraft knew something that we don't.....
