Not a Bad Day....

Things actually going rather Well this day... and most "messes" and "issues" (that were "distressing" and upsetting us) have (for the most pat) been Resolved in jut a very short time (less than Three hours... like in those old "Family TV shows where "Everything All works out....

won't know how well my Spore will do ... de-frag finished and got a few hours of sleep... so feeling better... and my Friend (from out of town called and will be dropping by to see me later... Cool... so we actually have reasons "to Smile"...

              
And my two Friends just left for a Yu-gh-io gathering (trying to sell (and a bit of "trade"  of some Cards) and Alex will see about my computer in next few days and fix "RAM" (processor)...

              My Friend left me a couple of Beers (Bud Ice).... Cool ... Well off to Spore for a bit...
Sitting here alone now... and in a pleasant mood... about see if Spore works Any better... (if Not... now have All "files fixed (and backed up) for re-instillation of a New game-world (of a "blank" Galaxy... time to Begin Again....

              Not warm in the house... rather cold in here even when the day is warmer...
                  So, do not quite get rid of "Chill" in here before the day turns colder....

After several years of trying to think of a "positive" thing... that is the Best that we could come up with.... Not very "Self-Assuring" statement....

                                 Still feeling very "low"... sorry about that....
  on the "bright side"... the Jacket for my Joker figure arrived.... now to change out outfits....

                               

Will use the shirt and vest from another figure ... (the "real" ones from "Hot Toys" sell for the "shirt" $ 40.00+ and the vest around $40.00 ... if you can find them)... cannot afford this figure... so am building my own using (mostly) the original parts...

Cold and "dreary" outside.... rather cold in this one room ... anywhere (more than a foot from the small heater... even right up beside of the unit, the air is "icy"... will wrap a blanket around myself shortly.... Sorry that I allowed the "things" of ths little Town to "get to me"...

Last road on the right out Elm St.just before you reach the cemetery on the hill heading towards New Salem....

the "Chill of Winter".... will be getting much colder for about a week (at least) ... will have to bring in "Casper" (my Dog)... He has never had a Bath...(this is going to be "fun")... and was "traumatized" as a pup by being locked in a bathroom all day ... so he may not take to well to bathing.... but he does "Smell"... and will have to block off Kitchen (way Too "toxic" from all of the bug poisons)... )

He does enjoy being inside the house...

 Sister will be by later to run to town for my... will have her pick up some ("raw-hide") chew-toys for him as well ( and maybe some "doggie-snacks" (if not much $$)....

                                                        So....Sing along , Kiddies....
                             So .... trying to look on the "Bright Side" of "Things"....
 and my Sister got me some Drapes... turned out to be too small for the window,... but, will work well for the kitchen doorway... (help to keep in the heat better)...

              Another day just sitting here... about the same as any other day here....
Updated my "Stacey" Sim ("Evil") and duplicated the Lot and now "Stacey" has twice as many of these choice items in his inventory.... so that worked out well...

                                          So taking a Break from the Sims 2 game.....

                                                 Hope that you all are well this day....
      As we have said, my Sims is what we use as a form of "escapism" in my daily Life....

  A nice day ... not too hot here.... we are said to have a few more days of these cooler temperatures.
So we are thankful for that... it is always hotter in here than outside any way....
... We will enjoy things as we can... at least breathing is not as harsh today.... and was able to get some sleep.... (around 7 hours) ... so feeling much better rested today also....
... even if things are mostly "crappy" we are trying to take pleasure in these little things... often these are all that we have amongst the mess that is my Life.... Rather that just focusing on the many "negative" aspects of my existence.... and my Sister even got me a cherry pie from the deli section at the store... and got a jar of peach preserves at the store earlier in the week.... so we even have a couple of "sweets" to enjoy this week.... these may well be just "lesser" things... But you have to           "Look on the Bright Side"...
