"G" is for "Green Slime"...

                                        Today's May Monster ....
        A childhood favorite (years before we were even able to watch this Sci-Fi film).
            

                   Loved these slimy, tentacled horrors ... with their large red eye....

                                 and the many smaller eyes in front ....

 
                           Frying victims with their electrical tentacles.....
                     A "Fun" film (Effects are "poor", by Today's Standards)

                                       Even had a Cool "Theme Song"...!!!
             With their ability to grow More from their own Blood, They were "Unstoppable" !!

been using City "Templates" for creating "Adventures" ... Cities work well... add population (usually "humans") and add in Monster (or as many monsters as we wish) to unleash upon them ...

                ... very "crowded"... there should be plenty of "prey" for the monsters....

enjoying watching ( and playing these "creations".... So much like my old D&D game-worlds....
can make for a bit "fun" horror-gaming.... Save the people and hunt and slay the monsters...

currently having the Green Slime attack... Have Not gotten a chance to try it out with my "updated" Green Slime.... (worked them up as a "Captain" to obtain their healing and the "electrical discharge", to make for a harder to defeat "Foe" , as well as giving these Monsters the "abilities" they had in the Film...

    An awful "marionette" effect.... Movie Monsters have come a Long ways since these monsters...

As a little kid we remember wanting to see this film... (had seen a picture of the "Monsters".. and instantly "fell in love with" their design..... cool alien "Monsters".... this was just before we were attending school,... so we were very young...

                                                 had heard the song even......

     The Phantom was my favorite as a kid and still is years later .... as well as Nosferatu.....
                   
                      "Monsters" and Horror Movies is what we grew up on....

And as a small child we liked the Green Slime even though we did have to wait a few years to actually watch the movie....


         Really liked "Monster" movies... not just a "slasher"... we want some "Nightmarish Terror" ....


                                Alien (1979) was a Big Influence upon my later teens...
Basically the "Trapped in a Haunted House with the Monster" that takes place in Space.....

And this H. R. Giger creation was just Awesome...!!!

Believe it was the Writer, Dan O'Bannon who said ..."They say "That the Play Is the Thing"..... He went on to say that in a "Monster" movie like Alien.... "That the Thing Is the Play"...
