What was the first non-D&D game that we played....
Though we had incorporated some elements of the "Chill" gaming system into our game ...."Call of Cthulhu" was the first non D&D game that we ran.... I enjoyed it ... the players got "upset" at the many "sub-plots" involved.... it ended badly ... the one detective ... became a drunk at a local bar ..."critters" got another two... and the other went insane and was later snatched between the bars of her padded room by a living shadow.... No one wanted to play again....
Before D&D... in early high school... the "Micro-Game" Chitin:I..."the Harvest Wars" I really enjoyed... ( though mostly only played on my own to keep myself "amused")
We mentioned a while back (March 23rd) about putting together a "Combat-System" game using the "Cubee-Craft" Daleks.... Anyone interested.... If so give us a couple of weeks to design and "perfect" this gaming system ... and we will gladly do so...
"Systems damage will be a "random determination" chart.... as well as the "stats" for your "warriors"....
This size seems best for gaming purposes.....Give us the "Go-Ahead" ... and we will create this RPG game for you good viewers.... Let us Know...
All that I would really have to do is to create a "random determination" Systems Damage Chart...
That is "if" you can puncture its external Armor...
This diagram gives me a good idea of the "Systems" inside of a Dalek..
Thus, once that their outer armor has been "breached" then you get to roll for an internal "Systems Damage"
Scaled to the size that will be needed for this "War Game"
Print out some "Drones"...
Use the Grid Map... Calculate the Daleks Range Of their "Death Rays" and sensors...
And We will be set for "WAR"....
And their "adversaries" can be whatever else is on hand ...small plastic army men... action figures... (just remember to "scale" your Daleks to the size that you will need .... And we will post damage charts and death-ray "area effect" stats... Later kiddies...
