Just found this one on You Tube !!! watching it now... (Knew that we would likely never see it) .

"G" is for "Green Slime"...

                                        Today's May Monster ....
        A childhood favorite (years before we were even able to watch this Sci-Fi film).
            

                   Loved these slimy, tentacled horrors ... with their large red eye....

                                 and the many smaller eyes in front ....

 
                           Frying victims with their electrical tentacles.....
                     A "Fun" film (Effects are "poor", by Today's Standards)

                                       Even had a Cool "Theme Song"...!!!
             With their ability to grow More from their own Blood, They were "Unstoppable" !!

                     

This Week's "Monday Monster".....

                                                            an old Sci-Fi Classic.....

        "It Came from Outer Space".... one that we have enjoyed since we were a small kid...


                       
                                          And the "creepy-looking" one eyed Alien....
                                    
            they crashed on earth and were in need of "help" to repair their damaged craft....
 
Fearing that the Humans would reject them ... or worse try to Kill them... they began to take control over the Humans that they encountered.....
                                using them as slave labor to repair their ship...
            when the "Monster" was finally revealed... it was very "Creepy" to me as a kid....

and this terrifying "Beastie" was designed by the same talented Lady who designed the Creature from the Black Lagoon.... among other Universal "Monsters"...

                                              an enjoyable film still to this day....
                The Movie itself (for now) ... till the CAS pulls this film as well... so enjoy....

Been at Sims a bit...

                              Well in the Captain's Chair oh my new Spaceship...

                                           "To Boldly go where No Sim has gone before..."

                                                 (finally got the Black hat to work)
             as for "Crew"... Dr. Theda is aboard (currently writing a new Horror Novel)

and one of the Cybernetic beings (who destroyed the large mining Colony of "Buckingham"...)
 he is acting as the ship's "Science Officer"... currently building more "Servo-Robots"
                          ... as I mentioned above My Sims can now write Books...!!!...
...It gives you a choice of some book-cover designs (for your finished book)... and you compost a (only couple of paragraphs in length) a "story" ... You choose five images (from the three pages of "icons" presented to comprise your tale"...)
.. We have done some good Horror novels ... and "Sim-Eating" Plants... Space flight great battles in space .... How to make ...(Droids , Monsters ... or any other "hobby")
... So many choices.... so spent the last couple of days trying to accumulate all of these "Books"...
.. Even have the alien "Cook Book"..... "To Serve Man".... (old Twilight Zone joke)...
                     This is one of my favorite parts of my "Updated" game-world....

                        .... A dark Mage and a Commander of my Undead Legion.....
And with "Witches" back in the game.... We have been adding more of my old Dungeons and Dragons Characters as well..

Something that I Forgot....

      in all that was on my Mind ... completely forgot to do a Monster Post for Monday....

           Even have a cool action figure of this one ( and a little "big-Head version too)

                                     The Original "Bug Eyed Monster" (BEM) of sci-fi films...!!!

  These "insectiod" things were used as "servants" by the people of the planet "Metaluna"...
                                        We always wanted this Mask as a kid....

                                    even made a version for my Spore Game....
                                        

A bit of Sci-Fi with My Sims...

                                                   at least we have this ship...

                                             added a customized Gun to the top...
 
But hanging out in a non-existent computer-generated world with some Cool "monsters" and some of my favorite fictional Characters...  Better than "thinking about the "Life" that we have... so we go off into my Sims world to "escape" from it All... helps a bit and passes the time... (want back "Spore")

Been "Organizing" My Sims...

More "Mushrooms", for my game-world...lol like the new "table and Chairs"... cool...
                   most of my "Neighborhoods" have become rather "chaotic messes"...

At least with the two "Spaceship" "Lot" designs... we can at least "think" a bit about my "Spore" Game.... and Many cool "Sci-Fi" based objects to use in my Sims....

                                         And "killing off" Sims is a bit "fun"....

Was just Running one of My Sims "Spaceships"....

                 Well, do Not have "Spore"... this is about as "close" as we can 'achieve" ...

                            Just re-doing the "interior" of a "Ship" for this "character"...

           and most of these "Sci-Fi" based things are available as "Free"downloads at "Mod the Sims"...

Just Realized that We have Not Posted Today....

just lost in my "thoughts" and running a few Sims as I "Think".... Really need back my "Spore"...
...Sorry about that Folks.... just a Lot on my "mind", I guess...( and more than a bit of "pain')...

                 Just sitting here ... was able to install a bit more "Sci-Fi" to my Sims...

Thinking of my 1/6th scale figures.... 01 / 01 / 2018.....

                                              Just a form of "Escapism"....

And flashing on the cover of this wonderful book are the "reassuring" words "DON'T PANIC"...
            this is to assure you to remain "calm" (and remember where you left your Towel)..

As a little kid we remember wanting to see this film... (had seen a picture of the "Monsters".. and instantly "fell in love with" their design..... cool alien "Monsters".... this was just before we were attending school,... so we were very young...

                                                 had heard the song even......
