Monday's Monster...

Here with this Week's "Monday Monster".... (idea from the Blog "Tasha's Thinking"....

This is more of a villain created from "tragedy" than an actual "Monster"....
                                                          And Death Records....

Fun little tune from Paul Williams...

But, Paul Williams is the Real "Monster" in this film....

The Classic tale of "Faust".... updated to the early 70's .....

Crossed with the "Phantom of the Opera"....
The vengeful music-writer stalks the Theater after making a "Contract" with Mr. Swan
... a tale of his love for a beautiful singer, who falls into the clutches of Swan's influence... as he writes Swan's Masterpiece of a new version of Faust....

.... some bits of humor tossed in as well... over all, ... a "fun" film....
in a Horror / Musical (made by the great Brian DePalma)....

And don't forget his new teeth....

Phantom of the Paradise.......

This "campy" classic of the early 70's.....

It featured a much younger Paul Williams... as "the Devil"...

He later voiced the "Penguin" on the Batman Animated series of the 90's.....

How about a tune from this enjoyable film...???

For more on this film go to "After Midnight, Behind the Closet Door"  for some great images and a good read for a review....

                                                Later Kiddies....
