Here with this Week's "Monday Monster".... (idea from the Blog "Tasha's Thinking"....
This is more of a villain created from "tragedy" than an actual "Monster"....
Fun little tune from Paul Williams...
But, Paul Williams is the Real "Monster" in this film....
The Classic tale of "Faust".... updated to the early 70's .....
Crossed with the "Phantom of the Opera"....
The vengeful music-writer stalks the Theater after making a "Contract" with Mr. Swan
... a tale of his love for a beautiful singer, who falls into the clutches of Swan's influence... as he writes Swan's Masterpiece of a new version of Faust....
.... some bits of humor tossed in as well... over all, ... a "fun" film....
And don't forget his new teeth....
I really need to sit and watch this soon! I picked it up earlier this summer a lot of people talk about this all the time. I will have to let you know what I think.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy this film ... but it is not to everyone's liking, good Sir....
