I always take it as a day off from work. It's an all-day celebration around our house; my wife's a pagan, so they do a bunch of rituals and such (even if I don't partake myself, I still have a vital support role), but there are visits to cemeteries, pumpkin carving, and various merriments. And my wife and her friends always do an all-night vigil out in their sacred space; a practice I honor both by contriving to scare the bejeesus out of them and making hot drinks available through the night. Usually soup or hot cider outside in a crock-pot. Then I go to bed early and wake up in time either to see them off or to bed at our house.
Sounds like you will be having a really "fun" Holiday good Sir.... Stacey will just be sitting here by myself .... a Friend might drop by... ... Enjoy your Halloween celebration my Friend....
Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!
