A Celebration for a Mass Murderer....
Columbus is said to have "Discovered" the New World....
How can you "discover" This land ... It was already occupied....He and his men brought to this land Smallpox and many other diseases... not to mention the cruelty that they did to the inhabitants....
Raping, pillaging and the cold-blooded murder of thousands...
A perfect person to celebrate for a Federal Holiday....
Why not just have a "Happy Hitler Day"...????
... Besides artifacts clearly show that North America was visited (by boat) many times in the many years before the arrival of this person... Why do we give such high honors to this man , who is responsible for so many Deaths.... and we honor him as a great "Hero"...!!!!
responsible for the deaths of countless thousands.... yet we are told that he "Deserves the praise"
what he deserved was a very slow death.... Would have been better if his Ships had sank... thus sparing many lives... and cultures , that had lasted centuries ... were All wiped out thanks to this Man ("Heartless Fiend")....
it sickens us to think back upon all of the praise (that we are taught from early youth) that we "owe" to this (so called) "Great Man"......
.... A Pox upon his descendants..... He did enough "misdeeds" that it would take many generations of his family blood to even begin to be called "justice"...
If the terrible things that he caused in North America seem bad ... they pale in comparison to the horrors done unto the native populations.... especially once his country sent over the Spanish Inquisition....!!!!

My Blog is mostly about "Monsters"... and (other than Hitler) , Columbus is one of the worst "Monsters" in All of History...!!!
ReplyDeleteA pox on his descendents Doc? Ouch! You really know how to hold a grudge!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, did you know that the word "justice" derives from the Roman emperor Justinian, who was quite a monster himself!
