Spent the weekend in NC & Tenn. mountains.... even got to go to the casino !!
the only thing bought to bring back were a few rocks (one a colorful purple and green crystals in a geode )..... as well a a quartz point ... was stuck in traffic for over an hour and a half to reach Gatlinburg, Tenn.... a long trip.....Some wonderful views of the mountains.... and the river that wound down the mountain into Maggie Valley .... paid homage to where Mom's ashes were scattered...
released 3 balloons and tossed a few long-stemmed flowers over the side of the look-out point...
This is how my brother and Sister have payed tribute to Mom every year for her birthday (Nov. 26th).
