Coffee made earlier is only warm from the coffee-maker's warmer Kitchen is very cold .... just this one room has any heat at all little heater barely takes the chill off of this room.... layers of clothing and heater at my side... about to eat a biscuit (egg and cheese) not felt much like eating anything for last few days.... Very cold in other rooms... hung blankets and sheet-plastic to further keep out the cold not real effective ... Switching out this heater for the other small unit from the side-room
got even colder in here.... in the 20's outside
ReplyDeleteswitched out heaters.. smells a bit (has not been used since first of the year... it is (on low) already warming the room better than the other... it is keeping one side of me warmer and seems to be lessening the chill in this room
other heater doing much better on keeping the cold at bay...

ReplyDeleteroom just now beginning to not be as cold... drank my first half of a cup of coffee just rushed out onto back porch... had to start bringing in the cats' food-bowl after dark, that damned possum has been coming and eating their food. already beat the thing while it was in the food bag (within last few weeks) been after it with a blade (machete) chased it out the door normally it quickly "waddels" it bulk in, up-under things on the other side of porch... Believe it is the same one that sent us for a hospital visit a bit back.... guess just part of living in the rural South
