In Memory of E.A. Poe

He was one of the greatest horror writers of all time

          
I missed out on October 9th  But the Countess's blog (2nd Street Cemetery) told me more about this. .... A part of what "made" him the writer that he was were the "losses" of loved ones in his life and "Substance Abuse" ...Opium and Absinth ( his drink of choice).

 

I even made my own "Masque of the Red Death' 12 inch Figure for my collection.

   As a child I enjoyed some of his tales  like , his poem, "The Raven" his story "Masque of the Red Death" was always one of my favorites.... I even liked the Corman movie on late night TV as a child...
