Have FaceBook pulled up (for "Messenger") to keep up on how they are...
rains and more cold on the way here... waiting to hear back if my young Friend and his girlfriend get a ride back to Marshville from Charlotte ..... a "so-called" friend took them to a card tournament up there and seems that he left them there... Wishing you a better evening than they are for now...
they will be rather late... the friend's car is broke down beside road a distance from them... (he had to call uncle for a ride for himself) ... their (newly acquired ride has just arrived to take them back to Marshville... so, .. things work out for now.... Later...

ReplyDeleteHmm, I hope this isn't a fellow member of the clique not inviting you. However it sounds more as if they had an incident with someone once considered a friend to them, and now stranded.
Take a solo adventure to get your mind off it for now. Get off that stoop full of africans.
Always lived on this same street... just old folks... Now mostly all black... (and two or three drug-dealers)... big change for Stacey... still try to be nice to my neighbors...
