Spent Most of the Last 5 Hours Trying to Help...
Just feel so "helpless" to help the dog...
A lost dog... (very well cared for "inside" dog)... Clean and can tell that its hair is groomed regularly... Someone's special family member... very well behaved and "people-friendly"...
Here is an image of this lovable Dog....
Really hope to reunite it with owner... cannot breath well so cannot walk around asking all neighbors (No telling from which street it came).... I know this is a cared for beloved "Friend" to someone... and am saddened that I am helpless to fix this...

Even visited three homes because we knew that they had Friends who work with"rescuing" Animals... Will Not turn dog over to Animal Shelter... would eat lees and share my own food with it first !!! (We can barely afford for me to take care of my dog... we often will have my Sister pick up a couple of cans of "wet-food" for him rather than a "sweet" r some treat for myself...)
ReplyDeletePumpkin update later...
ReplyDeleteFeeling rather miserable and thinking of ourself as a"failure" for my inability to fix things for this dog... does not seem accustomed to "dry food"... so we made a tuna on bread, tore off pieces and sat there and fed them to the dog... about to feed my dog and call it a night... too depressed to even try to play spore...
ReplyDeleteGouged my shin, and was bitten(non-poisonous) by a spider on my back for stepping outside to feed my dog....
ReplyDelete... guess that we should not expect much "better"..
Humidity is well up and temps are beginning to rise... will not be able to ... So, will be unable to walk around to see about owner of dog
ReplyDelete... so would do us little good to try today ( they took my primary inhaler... and we cannot breath when atmosphere is like this... ( spider bite (on back is a pink lump and itches a lot)... so even wake up feeling like a "Failure"...
Been going out and "visiting" with the dog... seem a bit "scared" (well, lost from its nice home...)
ReplyDeletewill make a cheese sandwich for it later ...
