A is for "Alien" ... the "beastie" that first showed up on Movie screens back in 1979....
This H. R. Giger creation literally "burst" onto the Movie Monster scene....
From the Face-Hugger to the "Chest-Buster" to the Adult "Alien.....
More of a "Haunted House/ Monster Movie than most of the Sci-Fi films up till then
(Note: the low-budget film of the 50's "It , the Terror from Beyond Space" with Ray Corrigan was a similar tale of being Trapped on a spaceship while stalked by a Monster) But, Dan O' Bannon and Ridley Scott made a truly terrifying and exiting roller-coaster ride of a Film....
This Movie Monster is called by fans a "Xenomorph"...
I love the Alien movies (well except #3 :)) - action, adventure and horror all rolled up in a sci-fi package.
