A to Z ... "C" is for "Comics"...

Could also be for Creepy and Crazy Train...
in later years this song always made us think of this Story....
This comic story (illustrated by the great Richard Corben) first appeared in Creepy # 54....
I was in my late teens when I finally was able to find a copy of this comic...

We Give you the "Slipped Mickey click-flip"..... and enjoyable comic story that we read as a child

One of the first issues to feature a Color story as well....

This is why the "Crazy Train" reference....

And we did enjoy the Ending as a small kid...!!!

  1. We had different tastes in comics as kids! Mine were all tame stuff like Batman, Superman, Archie, etc.

  3. I never really read any comics until I was a teenager and then I was rather fond of 2000AD. We purchases a whole heap of them from a jumble sale I think :). I probably would have loved creepy comics at the time.

  4. Creepy and Eerie were the main ones that we read... and not long after that, they changed the Stories to "continuing" story-line, or "modern" (often "Futuristic") stories... only occasionally with a "horror" story...by then we began buying more (cheaper)color comics (Charlton) And then as a teen did I begin to look at the Artists names... Tom Sutton (along with Corben) Were a big influence on us to take Art class...
