Been a Very Hectic Few Days....

a bit chilly in here ... just having our first cup of coffee....
But we are still here and bring you the Universal Monsters ... (A bit Late though)....
.... rather than go into much detail.... Alex (old Friend and the Doctor of my Computer) re-installed my Spore... and returned Monday and Tuesday to further work on computer ( runs Much better now)....  So some parts of that time my computer was down ... managed to get my best Friend to reconcile with Alex... had more than a few visitors... (more in the last couple of days than we get in an entire month).... Those are a few of the reasons.... But We Are Back....

the old black and white Universal Studios Monster movies were unlike anything that movie goers had seen up till then... and film versions of the popular horror novels of that time ... up on the Big Screen!

The people were Amazed...!!! and the trend of Monster / Horror films had begun.... and from there the "Monster Craze" had its start....

The Awesome Sets used in these early films were what we really enjoyed.... such huge detailed places ... You could just loos yourself in their depths.... the type of places that I wanted to have as a place to play as a kid...

So I was a bit of a "creepy kid".... lol...
We will begin with Bela Lugosi as Dracula first... (although Christopher Lee was the "Dracula" of my childhood)....

we will be back in a bit with more on this classic Dracula...
For the best images of the monsters of Universal go to that Great blog "Classic Movie Monsters"...
