Lead this time..,. our Town's drinking water...
Are we to become another Flint, Michigan ...???
the notice (received in the mail) recommends finding another source (recommending Bottled Water... We cannot afford that !!)... so (if used) water must be allowed to run for half a minute before using...
and coffee (made from this water) is about the Only thing we ever drink...
as for doctor visit... they even ran an EKG and my heart-beat has a healthy rhythm... though, much weaker...
ReplyDeletethey took blood (for their tests)... Dr. Werner (a good Family doctor) said that we are doing well,for now... Told me to try to not have as many falls and accidents...
Called Town Hall... the lady there told me that this Lead problem was first found back in September... an earlier "notice" seems was sent out (squeezed between lines of irrelevant "Town" news...) and she said that it was only found in nearly 1/4th of their testings... They will do nothing... "hopefully it will clear up before long" was told...
... so, they have no plans to do Anything to Fix this...
