Yes , the "Master of Magnetism"
As a child the Germans put him in a Concentration camp....
This was a major factor in his Hatred of the Human Race....
A great image of this Villain by the late artist "Boris"...
Yet he does Not think himself a "Villain"... but as a "protector" of the "Mutants" from the Humans....
A tribute video to the Origins of the Villain known as Magneto....
I applaud your choice! I'm a big fan of Magneto, and of the actors who portray him (Ian McKellen as old Magneto, Michael Fassbender as young Magneto). Yes, he is sometimes a villain and he is always ruthless, but the world has made him so.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Got your "Ask Me Anything" question about monsters and villains -- will leave you a comment here on your blog when I answer it so you'll know when that is.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear Lady Debra ... and glad that you enjoyed the post...
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I love Ian McKellan in anything, but he did a more than superb job in the films portraying Magneto. Gave Magneto just enough humanity to be awesome, even if he is a "villain" Lisa, co-host AtoZ 2015, @ http://www.lisabuiecollard.com
ReplyDeleteI'm X-Men 3, I never understood why he just didn't drop the bridge on the prison. I mean, he was only trying to kill the kid. Wouldn't it have been a hell of a lot easier and faster to just crush the whole facility with several hundred thousand tons of steel rather than than their ridiculous (and futile) attack on foot?
