Dungeons and Dragons "Blog-Hop"....

we seem to have "jumped the boat" a bit early on this one Kiddies...
the Posts the we were doing were Not to begin until Today (Feb. 1st)....

Here is of "List" of the daily "Topics" for each day of This Month....
Today's "Question" is Who first introduced me to this wonderful Game.....

The Great Blog , "Hero Press" is where we first heard of this "Blog-Hop" to commemorate 40 Years of Dungeons and Dragons...!!!

First time that I got play a version of D&D was in Jail ,a few weeks after I had robbed a bank in my Youth....
This one guy used to play this game regularly (as the "Dungeon Master").... So he set me up a "Game".....  (we used cards ,Ace through 6 as "dice")..
The second night , he was in a bad mood and my two characters barley survived a Black Dragon ( the Acid-spitting type of Dragon)...  as well as several "nasty ( and Deadly ) Traps....

So,..... by now he was frustrated at my survival.... so we enter a chamber an "Asmodeus" , Himself shows up and challenges us...!!!!    Remember this was my "first" game ever... and by Now he wanted me DEAD...
.... Well the Devil offered a challenge , a riddle actually... if I answered it "correctly"...I could have any One thing that I wanted.... But, if I were to give the Wrong answer.... He was taking us both back to Hell with Him...

... About there is where he "messed up".... The "riddle was one that we knew..(Thank you Tolken)....
... he got pissed and told me that I had won.... that was the last I got play of that game...
