Since it is a New Year (2016) we will start back with the early Horror films....
Well Thomas Edison (the inventor) made the first filmed version back in 1910... (Well over a 100 years ago) .... So Horror films are about as old as Cinema itself....
Were as we are familiar with the "Monster" being brought to Life by electricity.... well Edison , went more by the origin used in Mary Shelly's book... A "Prometheus chamber" was used....
A a great Thank you to a great Lady .... Lady M,... Thank you again for the little figures of Dr. Frankenstein and his monster.... cool Christmas gift....
Early films had a way of listing the "Monster" at the end as a dream or "phantasm"... Other than Nosferatu.... Universal Studios was the First to Really give us a "Movie Monster"... with Phantom of the Opera (in 1925) .... We will be going over these early monsters for this month....
