Been trying out the new "Cheat codes".... the "Space_Shaman" (which give you a "return Ticket" to your "Homeworld" from Anywhere in the Galaxy...) is a "useful" one...
and the cheat setConsequenceTrait Space_Trader is helpful .....
Just pick a world to establish "Trade Route" and use "Cash Infusion" to immediately Purchase that system.... and you can reset your choice of active "Trait" as often as you wish....
