Witches... Baba Yaga....

                  
              From Russian folklore comes BabaYaga ...the Old Hag of the Forest....)
 
She wears no hat and has a very long nose.... She is said to fly about in a mortar and carries her ever-present Broom (made of silver birch)... which she uses to propel herself through the air and uses it to wipe away all traces that she was ever there....
And the Shrieks wails from the host of spirits who accompany her... upon the wailing winds...
                                  And her house upon two large bird-like legs
            
             
                            An old Hag with iron teeth who eats children....
                   She is very thin in appearance even with her appetite...
                        Even a popular Children's story-book character.....
