A Little Known Horror Movie....

                                       From way back in 1971.... the movie Octaman......!!!
The most notable fact of this film ... was that a young make-up artist, by the name of Rick Baker was brought in to create the Film's Monster.....

They told him that the Monster would only be seen by viewers in brief glimpses .... kept in the Shadows , so that no one would really get to see the Monster

  -                                But of course , being Film-makers ...They Lied to him....

The Monster was given a lot of screen time...

By doing so they took what could have been a "cool Monster" they turned it into a "man in a Rubber Suit"... 

                                                       This poster looked cool...

       Mr. Baker was outraged ... they had filmed his creation in a way that showed Every "flaw"....

        the great Rick Baker almost decided to give up working with the film industry over this one....

The film-makers of "Octaman" ... could have put together a cool "Monster Movie"... But FAILED...!!!

                     The release of this film made poor Mr. Baker feel like a "failure" as well

                                        This monster was even deadly as a baby...!!!!

Even later made into a cool Model Kit
