Had checked on older posts and All clips of "Young Frankenstein" have been removed... (even the ones that were only about 30 seconds or less in length )....

                                    And Marty Feldman's wonderful performance....

Had Tried to Rest for a bit....

                      After a couple of hours of trying ... we got back up... oh well,.....

Got to finally see an X-ray of my chest.... not so good.... the large "orb" ("Boulous") has gotten much larger... and the doctor pointed out three other "orbs" in the upper portion of my remaining lung....
... and if  the large one "pops"... then I am dead.... he did tell me that these "orbs" could rupture at any time... So, feeling a bit down about that....
                         
                  at least these others are smaller... largest a bit over the size of a pool ball...
   Not really sure "how" to take this new info... but, I guess it is better to "know" than to not know...

         We will "dig up" more on this great "Movie Monster" after our return from doctor visit....

Peter Boyle (as the Monster) and Gene Hackman gave a great humorous performance in this scene...
... they seem to have removed all other clips of this film.... even "Abby Someone.... ahh, Abby Normal"... that was one of my favorite scenes....

Dr. Frankenstein' Monster...

               
         as portrayed by the great Actor , William Henry Pratt... better known as "Boris Karloff"...
                 
                      That role was to be later played by others , including Glen Strange....
              
And such a Great performance , that he makes the audience actually feel "pity" for this murderous Monster... and with very little "dialogue" ... simply by his "mannerisms"  he was able to convey this creature's emotions and "mind-set"...

His "iconic" image is what most people think of this "Monster" (though , many others have portrayed him .... Karloff's performance is the one that we "remember"...

As for the "Doctor".... Peter Cushing will always be the actor that I remember from my childhood...
                


this poor creature has even been played for "laughs" ... like Mel Brooks "Young Frankenstein"...

though some would claim his "Quasimodo" as one as well, Lon Chaney's "Phantom of the Opera" was their First big monster ("Mon-Star"...???)

                        the "unmasking"scene really scared many movie-goers....

                        He went to great lengths to obtain the right "look" for the role....

Went to Bed Much Earlier....

                                                           and still cannot Sleep...
kept on waking up ... now Awake at 6:00am, with No chance of More Rest for now...
even took a nerve pill ( my med with an added Sleep ingredient) cannot take Valium or Zanex they will knock me out ... Last time it put me into a long sleep that lasted well over 40 hours... that is a bit too Much sleep....

Been at Spore most of the weekend... Learned even more about the many aspects of game-play in this wonderful Universe.... And these "Adventurers" Reminds me of writing up games for D&D... and then can change a few "elements" of that Game , and have an New game.... cool... making at least several parts of a much longer story-line... so the "possibilities" are limitless....

And more of "Monday's Monster" ... sorry that Life situations got in the way of late...
... those "problems" should be over , for now.... And many other issues to worry over remain... but, we are in much better spirits than usual.... so we take what "good" that we can and try to enjoy...
              
                           Probably going with the Universal Monsters for this month...
                              They tend to be the most recognizable to people...

And having Not gotten last Monday's Monster posts done ... we will have a bit more on one of my Favorite Monsters... "Poor Erik" (as the Author would often say insisting that He was a Real Person dwelling in the deep passages far below the grand Paris opera house...)  So maybe the Phantom of the Opera was a bit more Real than we believed...
