as a small child , I loved this show!! included are a few paintings "Green Fingers", "Fright Night"( my personal favorite painting),& "A Fear of Spiders I own No copyrights to these images..."Green Fingers" starred Elsa Lancaster as an elderly lady up against a ruthless Land developer... I love the quote at the end ... "form tiny acorns grow mighty oak trees... But,.. you know what grows from little old lady's fingers ...Little Old Ladies grow from little old lady's fingers....' and the land developer went insane ....a"A Fear of spiders" deals with a callous snob who has a spider that crawls out of his sink ... each time he washes it down the drain .. it comes back even larger... "Fright Night" is about the dead uncle coming back from the grave for his trunk... You can find these episodes on You-Tube to watch ... I was always a Big fan of Lon Chaney's Phantom (even long before I ever saw the movie the stills that I saw as a child were some of my favorites) I even read the book ( from the collection of stories "The Ghouls") 3 times by 8th grade..the colorized scene of his entrance as "the Red Death" always stuck in my mind ... well here are a few pics as well as my own attempt at my 1/6th scale Red Death (the body is the Sideshow "Gentleman # 1 from the Buffy episode "Hush") I had to make the mask and his staff is from Mego's Wizard of Oz's Witch... But the rest of the outfit is the one made by Sideshow.. ... Let me know how he looks? Thanks Dr. Theda
As a small child I was given this book ( it belonged to my slightly older uncle) by my Grandmother ...because I spent much of my time visiting with family "glued" to this book and its wonderful images...
This is my 2nd attempt to "Blog" Managed to grow about 15 Pumpkins in my first attempt at a Pumpkin Patch. This is my cluttered corner... and the pumpkins are the"twins' (Unfortunatly the slugs have had their way with one) the orange one is "Jack" Excuse the mess...
