Bugs.....

     BROWN RECLUSE SPIDER
Killed another brown recluse earlier.... that time of the year again......
It was crawling down the wall near me....
Haven't been bitten in the last year and a half.... last time was able to get to doctor ( scheduled appointment was only a couple of days away.... they did not do my blood work that time because of the bite... guess my blood was "bad" from the venom...) We have Tiger Worms and Centipedes Several of which a rather venomous as well....  and All listed above are "necrotic venom"......
... found out later that the "May Monster Madness" folks mostly did "Bug" related "Theme" for their posts... we live among "Bug Terrors" ... Unless you can make them Larger than they already are and Then you might scare me a bit ....

Like when a large Warf Spider crawls up from the drain or gets into the bathroom....Now Wolf Spiders crawl in from somewhere.... (maybe under the door...???) They come in and I scoop them up and toss them back outside.... You have to do so very gently when they are carrying their young (dozens of them latched onto her abdomen) Brown recluse spiders we just kill.... Wolf spiders have large fangs (which open from side to side enabling it to grasp and hold as well)......
.... So we are accustomed to such things... even used to track down (by their distinctive webbing and the strength of their web) black widows and catch them with a drink bottle as a kid... could usually get her without her loosing a leg....

  1. There are lots of nasty spiders in my part of the world, so they do tend to freak me out!

  2. Except for the large Warf Spiders .... and more than a few brown recluse spiders coming inside.... Vigilance ( watching and often "scanning" the room... they come in from above and drop down)
