                              I loved "Giant Bug" movies since early childhood....
             I love this film ever since I first saw it on late night "Shock Theater as a small child...

                                     And nowThis Great Classic ... Enjoy Kiddies....

With all the Praying Mantises that are here in the Summer ( though their numbers have greatly decreased over the years)... And we have the "Carolina Mantis" as well , it is one of the largest in North America ... as a well as the "Eastern Mantis"...

My "spore" game keeps crashing.... so I decided to watch a movie..... after finally deciding to watch an old film ... I chose this one.... Maybe seen it twice since childhood......

                            This is the image from the book of horror movies of my early youth.....

                     It emerges from its icy tomb ... and proceeds to eat the Arctic base camp......

                                                        then flies to more populated areas

A favorite "Beastie" of my early youth.....

                                 Now to sit back and enjoy my movie.... Later Kiddies......
