Rather Cold...

                   
       very cold (for the South)... lows in lower 20's and did not get out of the 30's today

Been Cold....

Coffee made earlier is only warm from the coffee-maker's warmer Kitchen is very cold .... just this one room has any heat at all little heater barely takes the chill off of this room.... layers of clothing and heater at my side... about to eat a biscuit (egg and cheese) not felt much like eating anything for last few days.... Very cold in other rooms... hung blankets and sheet-plastic to further keep out the cold not real effective ... Switching out this heater for the other small unit from the side-room

Very Cold Today

               
will try to find that other heater in the side-room later... only in mid-20's at present ... not much warmer in here... all up against this little heater... heavily bundled in  extra layers of clothing...
(and the date of Nov. 13th is a time in which "Dark forces" is more powerful and the barriers between us and them is much weaker... a good day to postpone unnecessary activities till the next day)
 
still feel nausea in stomach... was why went to lay down for the night so early. Still took about three hours to doze off for a short bit.. was very cold (wearing a heavy coat for now) ... weather says it is only 25 outside (after 9:00am)... cannot hook-up another heater at same time as another is running (will throw breaker ) ... switching to drinking water (poor "quality" town water) coffee only further nauseates my stomach.... hope will feel better later today.... and doctor visit for tomorrow...

Something that We Do not See Around Here Much....

A bit Warmer in Here...

                                   .... Folks have been stocking up on Fire-Wood in my Area...
about 30 outside now ... was able to get  use of another heater to help for a bit... about to "nuke" another cup of cold coffee... temps in kitchen much lower ... (Bathroom colder than refrigerator)
                                           ... Not normal for this far South...

Just Sitting Here... Sipping Toxic Coffee...

           
As i had sat down to have a fresh cup of coffee... after a bit of my cup... get Phone call informing me that the town water May be "Toxic"... they will be testing this week and to "Avoid use for Consumption" Safe for other uses... the Water (of this Town) is All I have to drink (cannot afford other) So, Coffee is about the Only thing we consume...
          

Hey Temps are 23 Today....

             Another cold one ( day that is)... wrapped in  blanket ... next to little heater...
            at least the water is back on ... so I can have Coffee soon... rather cold in this room...
                  

Temps have Reached Above 20....

             
              ... just 22 ... another Cold day... blanket, gloves and small heater at my side...
and the town water main froze and ruptured... most of the places in town are closed till  water can be restored... this Cold has hit our town rather Hard this time...

Just a few Problems....

Due to this extreme Cold for the last Week... has finally begun to cause a couple of "Problems"... one Main one is my water pressure is now at less than 1/2 of what it was earlier today... so, pipes could now be freezing... and just the opposite for  my Fridge... The Freezer portion has lost its ability to stay cold....  So, Sunday (warmer temps by first of next week)... we will get a bag of ice (or two) each week & will and use the freezer as an old-fashion "Ice-Box"... should work till can do better...

The main water line to this side of town froze and burst the other day...

                                    Necessity is the "Mother of Invention"...

Been Very Chilly for Last few Days...

Alex never showed to see about Spore... and also puts us in a bit of a "Bind" with other matters....

Very Very Cold...

                   
                        inside not much warmer ... says temps at about 20 (feels like 12)...
           Water is frozen... had trouble putting together enough water to make us some Coffee...
two small heaters beside of me... ..less than 3 feet away air is ice cold.... so one side of my body warm the other side very cold ... dressed in heavy layered clothing... blanket across lap and legs...
          
      We have been through worse... but my health was better back then... we will Endure !!

Cold is Coming...

                                                 So it will be another cold day in Hell....

A rare Winter storm is about to hit... (will likely loose power (thus no heat)... things have been worse... and will have no phone to call Family.. So, should be an "interesting weekend...

After several years of trying to think of a "positive" thing... that is the Best that we could come up with.... Not very "Self-Assuring" statement....

Very cold again this Morning.... Dog is lying in the chair ... and about to fix a pot of coffee....

           About to begin my Day... my friends are having a Birthday "get-Together later today....
His daughter's birthday (I do not even have a way of getting her some present... So that is one of the reasons that I am not attending... and a very good chance of someone there that Stacey does Not wish to "encounter"... I may be a very Nice Person.... But would likely snatch off his lower jaw or just walk up to him with a Smile and stab him in the back of his head... He is one who has "wronged"Stacey.... It does not matter that I have known him since he was three....

Just the nasty "greenish Brown" Waters of the beaches of the Carolinas have not even been there in many years.... (may not get to go again) and only went three times in the last thirty years...

Another Cold Day in Hell....

the freezing rains will be here in a couple of days ... (not counting "wind-chill") temps. in low 40's   , an not supposed to get much warmer today (even colder tomorrow)

         Have my dog inside for now.. ( and will for a few days ... he is very well behaved inside... )
                                        having my cup of reheated coffee...

Will make a fresh pot as soon as we get a bit warmer.... about to go an re-heat (again) my "ice water" Coffee...
                 Believe that I just saw the "first Robin of the Spring.... it was frozen to the ground...
