             Been Many years since our last visit there.... Seldom go anywhere anymore....

Thinking About the Summer....

        Myrtle Beach, SC was where we used to go... much too "crowded" these days...

                                        Would be nice to go to the beach this Summer..
                Castle Dracula Wax Museum  (of the later 70's) was my favorite place at the Beach...

                        Maybe the Outer Banks... and take the ferry... cool at night...
                            odd glowing things in the waters from time to time...

Been dealing with "some" of the many "issues" at hand... As well as trying to fix the repeated "Game Crashes" of my Spore game..... My Best Friend should be back shortly...

Hello Folks an a Pleasant Friday to You as Well...

                                the beach that we used to visit has changed a Lot...
was up till well after Dawn.... My Friend stopped by for just a few moments around Noon... he stopped to tell me that he (and Family) were on their way to the Beach for about a week....
wishing them a great vacation time... (his Dad really deserves it , after all the "crap" that he (and them) have had to endure , just since last Summer...

                        The Giant Ferris Wheel is a newer addition to Myrtle Beach...
Have Not been to the Beach since Summer 0f 1990.... (that was when I lost my wallet in the car that we were driving.... and the Owners later used my ID to write 390+ bad checks in my name...  That trip ... My old Friend was steadily "Bitched at" by his "ex-Druggie" Shrew of a "B*tch"...
so not that pleasant of a trip... that was the last time that Stacey went on any type of "Vacation...
 .... and , most likely his last.... ... and NC beaches look bad these days ... murky brownish-green waters... recent shark attacks on kids... and the only "shells" to be found are bits of Scollops' shell...
Way too many people at Mytrle Beach....and Crime there has gotten really bad...
                  ... not the fun and pleasant place that I remember from my Childhood....
My fondest memories of our Beach Vacations are of wandering through Castle Dracula's Wax Museum" often for more than an hour each visit.... looking at and then re-looking at (often just satring at some of my favorite displays"...) that is a treasured childhood memory... and we have so "few"...

back in 77' (when I was a kid) ... This was my favorite thing at the Beach... it was sadly torn down long ago ... once stood about where the built their "Rock-ola Cafe" years later.....

Summer Vacation is Upon Us......

Sorry folks ... but we are not real happy with they way that they are "handling New Aquisitions"....

remember to pack everything that you will need for your Vacation Trips.....

            Its that time of the year again.... when the Schools are out for the Summer....

               A lot of the places we went to as Family Vacation are sadly no longer there....

                                      A little clip tossed in to see if you are still awake.....
                            and many of you are planing Family Vacation "get-aways" ......

                                               That is camping in "comfort"....

                                                       a Friend visiting for Now ...
 My Neighbor ( who passed about 10 years ago)... we spoke to her Sister Monday....
 her deceased Sister used to bring back a "rock" from each trip that her and her husband went on... these she would have neatly arranged around her ( now over-grown) flower beds... and her Sister gave me permission to have any of these rocks that I wanted... got some Nice ones... (even petrified wood...!!!! One piece about 3 feet long)....
 
So a nice "stone garden to surround my new Pumpkin Patch... .. around sun up was when we gathered the rocks... had to have someone else carry the Big one....

Summer Vacation is Nearly Upon Us.....

We do not hurt as much today , by last night ... we were in more than a bit of pain ( falls and other injuries... ) thus can move about much better today as well....
