A day for honoring the memory (and the person themself) of those who are no longer with us...

                       A colorful non-mourning way of  celebrating our lost loved ones...
                     
             A colorful celebration as well as a way to remember those who have passed...

Another Day of the Dead Post.....

We have All lost loved ones.... and this is the day set aside for us to pay our respects and thanks...

Around here most of our neighbors of Hispanic descent will spend many hours in church as a way of respecting those who have passed....

                                            "Sugar Skulls" are a tradition of this day as well....

And the traditional "Skull-faced" make-up worn by many on this day of celebrating the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us ... but are still in our hearts....

A Great Day of the Dead to You....

            November 2nd ...a day to pay your thanks and respects unto your dead ancestors....
          and just this past week my only Uncle passed away.... "Uncle Bill" will be missed....

                         My own health issues are not their best for a few days now....

With bright colors and festivities our Hispanic neighbors are celebrating the contributions passed down from their past relatives....A Day to celebrate the good that these loved ones passed down to us , as well as their many contributions they have given to the Family as a whole.....
..... So Remember to at least say a small prayer dedicated to those loved ones that are no longer with us.... May God rest their souls.....

Good Morning Kiddies.....

The Loud "bass" of the car across the street was vibrating the glass of the window beside of my bed ....(Window probably needs more caulking...)

This card is just something sitting at my computer.... I looked over and thought that I would share it with you ...This was apparently given away to "trick-or-treaters" back in the 90's as part of a "Safety First" program...
Breathing is slightly better today ...it is just after 11:00am here... I get to get my much needed medication in a bit over an hour....  Just wanted you all to know that I am still alive ( though only "barely")....

                       and "lurking just around the corner" is our Next Holiday.....Thanksgiving

                                          ... And a happy "Day of the Dead" to you all....

Things Should be Returning to "Normal" Here at the "Crypt"...
