Hello from Marshville......

                                                        Just sitting here.....
Rains seem to have mostly missed us ... we were right where the frontal systems ( warmer air vs. cool air) occurring right over us for while earlier watched on all sides as clouds formed ... beginning as a slight dark smear and quickly condensing into a small , but rapidly growing new clod... which was either torn apart by a couple of larger formations , or quickly pulled into an expanding much larger cloud..... that and seeing the effects of the "wind sheer" of the air currents....
and all somewhat close to ground-level.... some only a few stories high above...

Do not normally get to watch such conditions as close up and at such great speeds.... looked rather Cool... we used to study "Weather" as well... (One of several areas of Science that we have read and studied since early childhood..... whenever we would ask an adult or Teacher a question... and they could not give me a good answer.... we looked it up for ourself.....

  2. last time we saw such Cloud activity was during tornado conditions...
have had may in a long time... but do remember a few that passed by during my childhood... One took our screen door a porch post as it took the entire top off of the neighbor's barn .... and the the one that touched down in the field in front of the house... (as it "skipped" along touching down across this side of town)...
(they were a big part of the reason for our early studies on weather...)
