A Great Friday Afternoon to You All...


        Was watching a newer version (from 2009 in Two Parts) Day of the Triffids.....
     
      even read the novel as a young teen... in late teens saw the BBC version on PBS.....



                            This article for those of you , unfamiliar with this version.....
                                                              Well done thus far.....
                                              We will view the rest of this film later....

    1. Yes we researched on carnivorous plants at a young age....
      Coastal Carolina (at the site of ancient impact crater now filled in by swamp) down near Fort Sumter is the only natural habitat for the Venus Fly Trap , the Cobra Pitcher Plant And the Sundew.... are only found there....
      most of the other carnivorous plants are like the pitcher plant in function... and there are (fresh water) things like the Bladder wort Whose roots have small orbs , podilke growths that capture small prey....
      A favorite subject to us as a kid....
