Yog Sothoth from the H. P. Lovecraft story "Color out of Space"....
The Whateley Family are the real villains and poor Wilbur is the Spawn of this monster.....
on a quest to find a copy of the dreaded Necnomicon (with page 751 still included) to call forth his "Father" from beyond the Stars....
.. for Yog is the "Gate and the Key" and the way that the Great Old Ones can come to this world....
.... Finding a Villain for "Y" was a problem....
Then we remembered the movie "The Dunwich Horror"...
and the "summoning" scene from the original film...
We will finish up with the A to Z list of Villains tomorrow....
Yog Sothoth is pretty disturbing. Not a thing I'd want to encounter on a dark night--or anytime for that matter.
