Vintage Hallowe'en....


                                    ... with the old spelling of Halloween....("Hallowe'en")...
 
                       Part of the reason for lighting of a carved gourd for this Special Night...
                                                      Just after midnight here.....
                     
                               and Witches have long been associated with Halloween...
 
                            
                         
                     A Pumpkin-Head figure was often used as a "Mascot" for the Holiday...

 

                            Much like little "Sam" (from the film, "Trick-r-Treat")...
         

                       Jack_o-Lanterns and Black Cats... also part of Hallowe'en of old...
                            
                      
                         Some Hallowe'en greetings were "Love" letter type things...
                      
    
                         
                                                A couple of old traditions...
                     
 
  Wishing at Midnight and the looking into a mirror (to see the face of your future spouse)...
                                    
                           
              The tradition of paper-lanterns as well as craving of Jack-o-Lanterns...
