Today's Monday Monster...

Since it is a New Year (2016) we will start back with the early Horror films....

Well Thomas Edison (the inventor) made the first filmed version back in 1910... (Well over a 100 years ago) .... So Horror films are about as old as Cinema itself....

.. originally released in March of 2016... The first real "Movie Monster"...
Were as we are familiar with the "Monster"  being brought to Life by electricity....  well Edison , went more by the origin used in Mary Shelly's book... A "Prometheus chamber" was used....

A a great Thank you to a great Lady .... Lady M,... Thank you again for the little figures of Dr. Frankenstein and his monster.... cool  Christmas gift....

  1. Early films had a way of listing the "Monster" at the end as a dream or "phantasm"... Other than Nosferatu.... Universal Studios was the First to Really give us a "Movie Monster"... with Phantom of the Opera (in 1925) .... We will be going over these early monsters for this month....
