South American Death Whistles...

                                                   Creepy-looking ancient artifact...
                      Many of these odd Whistles have been found at SA Ruins and burial sites...
                 A rather "disturbing" sound... (made by one of these skull-shaped" things...)
                                some of these "Skull Whistles" look pretty cool...!!
                                                  Some sound better than others...

    This is a fascinating post, Dr Theda! I wonder if the sound of the death whistle (as demonstrated in the first video) is meant to mimic a person's last breath? The sound in the last video is more like a scream of horror though.

      they make a variety of sounds of screams "Last dying breath" type sounds.... even the varied screams of a person being tortured... real creepy sounds...
