Yes, my blog. the "Crypt" has been up and running since 2011.... wish that could say these years have been "good" to me... but, still hanging in there ... also the "Birthday that we had assigned to "Dr. Theda... early August (of 1984) He really first made his "presence" known..... (but was an imaginary "Friend" of my childhood) so, we made him the "Host" of the "Crypt"
both "banners / Logo were "gifts" from Followers !!
poor health and "issues" here ... so, not so "great" but have tried to still find the time to post (though not as often as we would like) We do apologize for that, good viewers...
had hoped to "celebrate" in some small way brother came by in a rude hateful mood
Thus ruining any "cheerfulness" we had... guess should never hope for anything "pleasant"

He went and faced "Mother"... and became Best Friends.... Now, when his "social" needs are low, he can just go visit Her for a bit... Has to find 15 "evidence" that will take a bit of time now....
This skeleton went through All of the stuff in the Lab.... and Nothing "reset" for other characters
... and was Not the Character that we thought were playing... So, a lesser Sim is promoted to being more "important" in the game-world.... has very few Skills was to be a "background" character...
Someone still has to Defeat "Mother"... But, he will be there for her reviving ....

Got the "expansion pack" (Sims 4 - StrangerVille) Cool lay-out where you can just wander around tending to the plants... with flowered creeper-vines coming up all the drains.... Been interesting
and made some cool "Labs" for my Sims to utilize .... Now to figure out which Characters are good enough... but, "expendable" ... Never really played "video-games" (watched the hours of game-play by Friends and others) Never battled a "Boss-Monster" at the end of a game....
And She is a Big "Mother"....
Already have a couple of Gardeners working the area... (which all dies with "Mother"...) So, a bit worried about "loosing" at this one.... Dead Sim... No "extra-life"... just dead....
At least my Gardeners will see to it that the plants still survive... even if only "hidden away" for now.
in just a few days this blog will have been up an running for Eight Years !!
and We are still here... health not the best and humidity making breathing much more difficult... will have to wait till evenings or cooler days to do much walking... determined not to just "sit here"... we do enough of that.... Back Four years ago, we were working at getting back our Sims 2 "game-world" ... Now, working at the newer Sims 4... So, more or less... right back where we were then...
The "graphics" are of Much better quality... Just so much work to keep my Characters from "aging up"... Had several die off at the same time... had just moved my "Stacey" into their home... checked back and half of "household" were dead... That was a bit of a "problem"... They were the first two that we had worked up their "career" level... She was a "Space Ranger" and my first "Top Author"..
... and (as new "top Author) had just met him.... He is long "retired" but is needed for his "skills"
o, spent a good amount of time last night trying to "fix" this problem.... worry over bringing my author back to life disturbed sleep repeatedly overnight ... then my mind telling us of other "worries" (None of which were true) just to keep me thinking .... just a bit ago managed to get back both of the dead characters with Stacey's skills... (That is the only one that can make "copies" of his many books)
Vincent Price (elderly) and Lon Chaney (1925 "Phantom).. Mr. price also died... so he is next to "fix"
Well that is what we were busy with for now...
Still been off at my new Sims 4 World.... since May 20-something, server "Origin", says that we have played well over 1,100 hours of "logged-in" play ... that is well over 45 (24 hour) days of my time since then...
Finally worked my main character to the top of (10th level) of his career of Author...
guess that would be about right... my Character is over 1,100 years old...
Vampires, now Jungles and cursed relics... am supposed to be getting the "Strangerville" expansion pack by the first of the week... So, adding a alien "Mother-plant" to add to my world...
This video will give you some idea about what we will be adding... after the "Mother" is defeated... That is when the "fun" will begin... Since most of my early play was mostly "gardening"... one of my evil high-ranking gardeners can revive the plant and control it to "Take over (that part of) the World"... Likely not the way the game-developers intended... Being "evil" (in this game) is Fun !!
and been enjoying the "archeologist" aspect of he game... even just unearthing and "authentication" of "relics" is an enjoyable way to pass the time... something that we have loved since early childhood.
We hope to post more this week... for the 8-year Anniversary of this blog "the Crypt", quite a long time now... health issues are not so great these days... basically this game is our only "escape" from the "miseries" of this life.... better than sitting here thinking "woe is me"... diagnosed as manic-depressive (at a young age) ... so, have to work a bit harder to be at all "happy"... For now, this game-world is where I am from the time we wake till whenever we need a bit of sleep... then back to the game again... So, it keeps the Mind occupied.... Have a pleasant weekend !!
been exploring ancient Temple ruins and getting by the traps (mostly)... a Lot of jungle adventures with my Sims 4... the "Mystic Relics" are pretty cool.. Just made one that places a "Curse" of fits of uncontrollable screaming... wow!... death curses are common too...
and just worked my "Grim Reaper" Astronaut up to 10th level.. now rank of "Space smuggler"
