Mr Jerry Rushing of Monroe , ..just up the road wrote the "Screen-Play" idea for the show "The Dukes of Hazzard"....   He later sued and was paid off... But Moon-Shine running and the crooked "County Commissioner " and Corrupt Sheriff... That was all just part of growing up here in Unoin Co. ,NC... back in the 40's & 50's...          
 So I Live in "Hazzard County on the last road on the right going out Elm Street towards New Salem Just before the Cemetery.... ( A lot of creepy movie titles can be made from that address...lol)
